Practice for your prop firm challenge on real ES and NQ days

Most evaluations aren’t lost to bad setups. They’re lost to an oversized position, a missing stop or one revenge trade late in the day. The daily challenge drills exactly those habits, one trading day at a time.

Updated

How the daily challenge works

  • One trading day per game. It opens at 09:30 New York time and settles at the 16:00 close; replay won’t go past it.
  • A fixed account. $100,000 starting balance and $2.50 commission per contract per side.
  • A bracket on every entry. A new position needs both a stop loss and a take profit, or the order is rejected. Reversing is off — close the position first.
  • Risk capped at 10% of balance. Any order whose stop distance × size × point value exceeds 10% of your balance is rejected — and the same check runs when you modify an order or drag a protective stop further away. Moving a stop to breakeven or into profit is always allowed.
  • Scored in R. Score = net P&L ÷ the total risk of every entry, so position size doesn’t move the score and games on different contracts sit side by side. Games with under $500 of total risk aren’t ranked.
  • Everyone gets the same day. The daily puzzle is the same for every player, one game a day, with a leaderboard you can see once you’ve settled yours. Random puzzles are drawn from the whole history, as many as you like.

What it trains

  • Sizing every trade to a fixed dollar risk instead of a feeling.
  • Never entering without a stop.
  • Treating each day as a closed book — a hard close at 16:00 with nothing carried over.
  • Judging yourself in R, so a good day on NQ and a good day on ES mean the same thing.

What it doesn’t simulate

The daily challenge isn’t a copy of any firm’s rulebook. There is no trailing drawdown, no daily loss limit, no consistency rule and no payout. Read your firm’s rules, then rehearse those limits yourself in free replay.

Rehearse your firm’s exact numbers in free replay

Free replay sessions let you set your own starting balance and commission, start at any minute in the history, and either replay continuously or drill a fixed window every day — for example 09:30 to 11:30 New York time, the hours many evaluation traders focus on. Every session keeps its own account and drawings, so one session can be your evaluation rehearsal and another your strategy lab.

The data you’ll practice on

  • ES (E-mini S&P 500): 2016-01-03 to 2026-10-01, 3.78 million one-minute bars at true traded prices — 78 monthly contracts stitched by volume crossover with no spread adjustment, so historical levels are prices an order could really have been worked at.
  • NQ (E-mini Nasdaq-100): 2016-01-03 to 2026-10-01, 3.76 million one-minute bars at true traded prices — 44 quarterly contracts stitched with the same roll rule as ES, no spread adjustment.

Charts Replay is not a prop firm and is not affiliated with any. It doesn’t offer funded accounts, hold funds or execute real trades. Simulated results are hypothetical and differ fundamentally from live trading.
