TERMS OF SERVICE
Terms of Service
The rules for accounts, membership subscriptions, auto-renewal and cancellation, and the backtesting service.
Effective date: October 25, 2026
1. What the service is for
Charts Replay provides historical market replay, simulated trading, backtesting and statistics tools for learning and review. We are not a broker, we don’t execute real securities, futures or digital-asset trades, and we don’t hold funds for live trading.
Historical data and simulated fills may be incomplete, delayed or differ from the real market. Backtested performance does not represent future returns, and nothing on this site or in its statistics is personalized investment advice.
2. Your account and responsibilities
Accounts are created and identified through Google or Discord sign-in. Each sign-in method creates a separate account, even with the same email; membership, records and partner access are not shared. Keep your sign-in account and signed-in devices secure; you are responsible for activity under your account. If someone else is using your account, secure your sign-in account and contact us.
Don’t use the site for illegal activity, access other people’s accounts or data, interfere with the service, get around access restrictions, or bulk-extract and redistribute market data without permission. We may restrict access in response to behavior that affects security or normal service.
3. Complimentary membership and subscription periods
After your first successful sign-up with Google or Discord, your account automatically receives a one-time 7-day membership with no card required; the complimentary period never results in a charge.
- Monthly: USD 2.99 per month, auto-renewing.
- Yearly: USD 29.90 per year, auto-renewing.
Both plans include the same features. You are charged on the day you subscribe and your membership is extended by one billing period (1 month or 1 year); any membership time you haven’t used yet (for example, days left in the complimentary period) carries over after the paid period, so nothing is wasted. If your membership has already expired, the period starts from the moment of payment.
An account can have one subscription at a time. Switching between monthly and yearly takes effect immediately, with Stripe prorating the remaining time: upgrades are charged the difference right away, and downgrades credit the difference to your account balance against future renewals.
The amount and details shown on the Stripe checkout page before you pay are what apply.
4. Auto-renewal and cancellation
At the end of each billing period your subscription renews automatically at the price shown before you paid, using the payment method you gave at Stripe checkout. The next charge date is shown on the membership page.
You can cancel auto-renewal at any time: click “Cancel auto-renewal” on the membership page, or cancel in “Manage subscription” (the Stripe customer portal). After you cancel there are no further charges, and the membership time you’ve paid for stays usable until it ends; you can resume at any point before then. Canceling is not a refund of a period already paid for.
If a renewal charge fails, Stripe retries it according to its retry rules; until a payment succeeds, your membership runs only to the end of the period already paid for. You can update your card in “Manage subscription”.
5. When membership expires
When membership expires, product features such as replay, simulated trading, challenges, reports and chart actions are paused. Your account and existing backtesting records are kept, and you can pick up again after renewing. Sign-in and membership management remain available.
Only one device can trade in a given replay session at a time; other devices are read-only, so changes don’t overwrite each other.
6. Payment problems and refund requests
Payments are processed by Stripe. If you are charged twice, pay successfully but don’t receive membership time, or want to request a refund, contact rookie.ricardo.zhang@gmail.com with your account email and order identifier. Never send a full card number or security code.
Refund requests are handled based on the order and applicable law. Canceling auto-renewal doesn’t trigger a refund automatically, and the site doesn’t currently offer a self-service refund button. Nothing in this section limits rights you have under applicable law.
7. Maintenance and use of content
We may change or pause some features for maintenance, upgrades, provider outages or security incidents, and we can’t guarantee the service will always be uninterrupted or that all data is error-free. Keep records that matter to you and use backtest results with your own judgment.
The personal backtesting records you save here are used to provide the service to you. Rights in the site’s software, brand and third-party market data belong to their respective owners; using the site doesn’t give you a license to resell or redistribute them.
8. Changes and contact
These terms apply to Charts Replay (chartsreplay.app). If we change the service rules, we’ll update this page and give separate notice where applicable. How we handle your personal information is described in the Privacy Policy.
